A little more for those who love a story
Beyond the Last Page
A place for short stories, first chapters, glimpses of books still taking shape, and the occasional note from my writing desk.
From the writing desk
Welcome.
Have a look around.
I’ve always enjoyed the stories that find their way onto the page, even the ones that don’t become books. Some grow into novels. Others are content to be short stories. And now and then, I like sharing a little of what happens along the way.
That’s what this place is for. You’ll find things to read, works in progress to explore, and eventually a few surprises for readers who choose to stay in touch.

Stay in touch
A little more for readers who’d like to stay in touch.
I’ve resisted creating a mailing list for a long time. We’re all inundated with emails, announcements, and offers we never asked for. I didn’t want to add another handful of chaff to your inbox.
But I’ve come to realize there’s a difference between filling someone’s inbox and sharing something they might actually enjoy.
That’s what my Readers Circle is about.
If you’d like an occasional note when something new arrives on the shelf, you’re welcome to join. No crowded inbox, no weekly promises — just stories, discoveries, and news when there’s something worth sharing.

Sure, part of this site is to let you know which of my books are available and where to find them and the links to purchase my works. But there is so much more going on, and I love sharing it with you.
In The Works is already something I hope you’ve seen. On that page, you’ll see my works that are story complete.
But there is so much more.
I call it my Inspiration Shelf.
It’s where ideas wait for their turn. Some come from dreams, others from an image that catches my attention, or a thought that refuses to go away.
Some may become novels. Others might grow into an entire series. They already have the beginnings of a story, but they’re waiting for that next spark of inspiration that brings everything together.
I also have short stories, which has its own section in the Beyond the Last Page world.
I suppose you could say my imagination doesn’t sit still for very long.

Short Story Shelf
Short Stories are part of my life.
Almost every week, I take on a new story. There’s a reason why.
Not only do I write short stories, but I read them a lot. No specific authors–just something that catches my fancy.
I think it’s because I get bored easily. My imagination is always wandering somewhere, exploring another possibility or wondering what might happen if…
Reading satisfies some of that curiosity. Writing lets me do something with it.
And that’s the part that really makes me smile.
The short stories on this shelf will be available to everyone. Those who join my Readers Circle will hear when something new arrives, along with a few occasional extras..

I’m planning a free ebook for the people who join Beyond the Last Page — a collection of short stories written simply for the pleasure of sharing them. It isn’t ready yet. When it is, I’ll tell readers here first.
