About Rex

Stories about the places where reason reaches its limits—and something deeply human begins.

Rex Sellentine’s fiction crosses genres and sometimes worlds, but the questions at its heart remain constant: What do we do with the choices we’ve made? What survives loss? What is worth believing in? And when life breaks in ways we never expected, what comes next?

An Air Force veteran and engineer by training, Rex spent much of his professional life thinking in systems—looking for connections, understanding how complicated pieces fit together, and solving problems that rarely had simple answers. Travel throughout the world and years living in both the United States and the Netherlands broadened that perspective and eventually found their way into his fiction.

Rex writes for readers who want more than an escape for a few hours. He writes stories that ask difficult questions without insisting on easy answers, leave room for both faith and doubt, and recognize light without pretending darkness doesn’t exist.
