Series Working Title

Vikinglands

A young man, grew up being trained to be a Viking. All his siblings trained in Viking ways, and then in 2030, just before his 20th birthday, things started to change.
The once-a-decade Norse Reunions brought he and his family to Norway, then Northern Europe. It was during this time, that a major even happened, which starts the Saga of Thor Thorsen’s Vikinglands.

Story Beginnings

I started writing nearly five years ago. It started with the date in 2030. The story developed into at least four books and maybe closer to eight books to get Thor through his learning and healing.
I chose weapons that were made by hand, and proper Viking training included making the young Thor, and his three sisters are responsible for their own weapon creation.

The first book in the series is not chronologically the first book in the series. In fact it is the third. It’s name is Stormborn.

At the heart of the book

A young man learning that adults are filled with agendas.

The story moves through scene after scene where thanks to the Ultras, the world is impossible to navigate. Law and order are dreams of the past. Who is responsible, and who will pay?

Meet Thor

Over 10 years and Viking certified.

While Thor’s history and his family are part of Bloodborn, Thor is tall, did most the hunting for his family over a ten year and proficient in his Viking skillset. On top of that, he’s a nice guy, but cross someone he loves, and woo be that person.
But at 20, he still is learning.
I personally like Thor a lot. His character has matured within the work. If he has raw edges, they are earned.

From My Writing Desk

Three books of the saga are close to story complete.

Stormborn

The first book to be printed is filled with encounters for Thor and those around him.

Theosborn

The second book planned be printed is filled with encounters for Thor and those around him. Here, Thor and later his sisters meet an ancient civilization.

Bloodborn

The first book chronically is focused on Thor’s life before Theosborn, and Stormborn.
It sat on the shelf for more than a year. It gave great history but light on action.
